This course will give you the opportunity to gain confidence in incorporating ecology as a theme in your teaching and leadership. We will explore the Cross Curriculum Priority of Learning about Sustainability, Education for Sustainability, Religious Education and Pope Francis’ Encyclical Laudato Si’: On Care for our Common Home. You will learn more about ‘education for sustainability’ and ‘ecological conversion’ and what this means as an educator along with how to integrate this concept across all learning areas. You will be provided with case studies from schools and planning time to develop a unit of work.
