Laudato Si’ in the Early Years (Year 1)

Caring for Our Earth and Building on Responsibility

Designed for Year 1 students, this unit features 6 x 1 hour play-based lessons grounded in Froebelian principles. Teachers are supported with ready-to-teach plans and embedded hyperlinked resources throughout. Students explore how their choices impact the Earth, build a sense of shared responsibility, and discover practical ways to become everyday stewards of creation. Themes include compassion, climate care, teamwork, and caring for animals and others.
