Caring for Our Earth and Expanding Stewardship

Designed for Year 2 students, this unit features six play-based, one-hour lessons inspired by Froebelian principles. Each lesson is enriched with hyperlinked resources to support teacher delivery and student engagement. Children explore global stewardship, take on leadership in caring for creation, and build a sense of hope through action. Key learning outcomes include recognising environmental challenges, understanding responsibility, and developing practical ways to make a difference—guided by the wisdom of Laudato Si’.
